The flat landscape of the Havel region is ideal for bicycle tours. The tourist information centre allows guests to enjoy the thrill of cycling with a bicycle rental service on-site. Eight bicycles are available for adults, plus three children’s bicycles in three different sizes. Helmets can also be rented out for children. We recommend booking in advance by telephone, especially during the summer season.

The bicycles can be rented out during the tourist information centre’s opening hours as well as overnight. In the summer months from May to September the bicycles can also be returned to the tourist information centre at the landing stage on the Havel promenade, which is open later (until 8 p.m.).

There are lots of possibilities for exciting bicycle tours starting from Ketzin (Havel). The junctions between cycle paths are well-marked, meaning tours can be put together individually to discover the landscape and culture of the Havel region. There are also lots of signposted cycle paths, including the 250-kilometre-long ‘Otto Lilienthal’, made of up four stages through the Havelland region.
