This relaxed tour combines active leisure with culture and culinary delights. The landscape between Potsdam and Brandenburg an der Havel enjoys great popularity among day trippers. Hardly surprisingly this area with the River Havel and its numerous lakes has been dubbed the “Amazon of Mark Brandenburg”: bordered by meadows and forests, it presents a harmonious image of sapphire blue and emerald green. There are numerous picturesque villages waiting to be explored, too. This tour is a delight for all the senses and it will take you off the beaten tourist track. You will come across people who are deeply rooted in the region and its craft trades, visit places where courageous inventors made history, and see landscapes of unique beauty that were originally formed by the brick-making industry.
