This bike tour takes its humorous name from the village of Wassersuppe (“water soup”) on Lake Hohennauener See and takes you through the Ice Age plateau of Rhinow. You start in Hohennauen, idyllically situated on the lake, and then come to Spaatz, where you can visit one of the oldest fieldstone churches in Brandenburg. Via Rhinow you then come to Stölln. Here you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to visit the oldest airfield in the world and see the IL 62 passenger aircraft on the Gollenberg as well as the Lilienthal-Centrum. Via Schönholz, the cycle tour leads back to the northern shore of Lake Hohennauener See. Here you can enjoy looking around Wassersuppe, take a swim or simply relax. There are restaurants in Stölln and Hohennauen.
Length: 36 kilometres (by bicycle from Rathenow: approximately 62 kilometres)
