There are shops, restaurants and beautiful hiking trails and cycle paths in the town district of Plaue. The ‘7-Seen-Tour’ (Seven Lakes Bicycle Tour) passes just a few meters away from the campsite. Plaue Palace Park is also just a few minutes away.

The town center is around 15 kilometers away with its 3 historic centers – the Old and New town as well as Cathedral Island.

The natural bathing area is regularly controlled.
