Sometimes broad and straight, sometimes narrow and curvy, the Lower Havel enchants canoeists with its natural charm. Here, you can enjoy nature in absolute silence. Visitors can experience a very special natural spectacle in spring and autumn when entire colonies of cranes, geese and swans gather to feast on the wet meadows of the nature park. The needle dam in Bahnitz - one of the last in Germany - the Nature Park Centre in Milow and the towns of Rathenow and Havelberg are also worth seeing. The entire tour is easy to paddle. It is recommended that you stay near the banks on Lake Plauer See in strong winds.
