The Gothic Revival brick church with pointed arch windows along the length of the church nave and the striking, pointed tower that can be seen from afar. It was consecrated in 1886. The previous church, built as a half-timbered church after the Thirty Years’ War, had to be torn down. This previous church had a pulpit altar in the Baroque style. In 1874, a Gesell organ was also installed there, which was re-installed in the new church.

In addition to a sandstone altar, the church now also houses two replicas of statues of the apostles Peter and Paul. The originals can be seen at Sacrower Heilandskirche church. A bell made in about 1400 also remains of the previous original building. The tower and roof were repaired from 1990 to 1995.
