Falkenhagener church, a rectangular cobblestone building, dates back to the 14th/15th centuries. After the church was destroyed by a fire in 1676, it had to be built again from scratch. The altar standing before the east wall of the church was originally a pulpit altar. It is made of wood and dates from 1705. There is also a wooden hexagonal baptismal font next to the altar. There are two arched, stained glass windows to the right and left of the altar. The window on the left symbolises the sacrament of baptism and the window on the right depicts The Last Supper. The church has a horseshoe gallery supported by columns. There is an organ with a manual, pedal and six registers on the west gallery.

At the end of the 19th century, the sacral building underwent further structural changes. The church was gradually renovated in several construction phases from 1997.
