The restaurant, situated directly on the shore of Lake Beetzsee in the village of Radewege, is perfect for a day out on the lake. Whether you are riding along the charmingly named Stork Cycle Path, arriving by boat, car, bus or on foot, whether you’re young or not-so-young, big or small – the mantra here is eat and drink well with friends by the lake. The extensive sun terrace provides a direct view over to the lake and the marina. The landing stage on the shore in front of the restaurant also encourages people on boating holidays to moor up and stop by. The seats are partly covered or have sunshades.

During the week, the restaurant serves a wide range of reasonably priced seasonal and freshly prepared dishes. The natural countryside around Lake Beetzsee and the seasons are reflected in the menu. Collaboration with local producers further underlines the restaurant’s regional flair: Getränkehandel Mitzkat for drinks, meat from the Master Butcher Steffen Lindner, produce from Farmer Lau and wine from the Weingut Karl Kruger wine estate.

Fish, asparagus, meat from the neighbouring village of Butzow, new potatoes, fresh vegetables from the region, poultry and game. At the weekend, the restaurant also serves freshly caught fish from Betke’s fish farm in Plaue. And be sure to try the ice cream served with fresh fruit, ice coffee and home-made cakes along with a chilled beer or a glass of wine.
