In 1862, Ketzür's carpenter Friedrich Henkel built the Bockwindmühle post mill in Ketzür, which had stood up to that time in Bornim. At the beginning of the 1920s, the mill was refurbished to ensure that it could continue to operate independently of the wind until 1955. To halt the decay of the mill after it was shut down, it was bought by the municipality in 2000, restored, given monument protection and handed over to the Mill Association for use and maintenance.
