The Brandenburg-Görden Prison Memorial site consists of a memorial to the former place of execution of National Socialist justice and the permanent exhibition on the former residence of the director of the institution. Both buildings form part of the prison complex dating back to the Weimar Republic era, which is now under monument protection.

The memorial site uses exhibitions, educational resources and events to tell the history of the penal system in Brandenburg an der Havel. The focus of the site is very much on the National Socialist era and the GDR period.

Guided tours and seminars are also available outside opening hours. To arrange, please email anmeldung-brb@stiftung-bg.de or call by telephone. Visitors are also required to make an appointment to visit the former place of execution. The permanent exhibition can be visited during opening times without the need to make a reservation.
