There are shops, restaurants and beautiful hiking trails and cycle paths in the town district of Plaue. The ‘Sieben-Seen-Rad-Tour’ (Seven Lakes Bicycle Tour) passes just a few metres away from the campsite. Plaue Palace Park is also just a few minutes away.

The town centre is around 15 kilometres away with its 3 historic centres – the Old and New town as well as Cathedral Island.
