The bivouac area is idyllically situated on a bend in the Havel and has a shower and toilet, two covered seats and a fire pit with barbecue facilities. There is also an attractive bathing area for a refreshing swim. A Kneipp trail is also available at the site – how about a round of water treading?

The bivouac site is located in Westhavelland Nature Park. Information panels at the site provide details about the natural environment of the Havelland region, including the protected wetland meadows and grasslands. For a day out with a difference, we recommend a visit to the adjacent ostrich farm.
