The canoe rest area is a stopover site for muscle-powered boats without overnight accommodation. It is located on the right bank of the Havel River, downstream in Strodehne. A shallow bank makes it easier to get in and out of the boat. There are several benches along the shore. The canoe rest area is marked from the water with a sign. The site is also used as a natural swimming spot. Mutual consideration is required. The canoe rest area is located in the "Untere Havel Nord" nature reserve within the Westhavelland Nature and Star Park. Visitors are asked to follow the nature reserve regulations and to leave the site clean.

There is a restaurant in the village and a water hiking rest area about 100 meters away, which has sanitary facilities and information boards about the Lower Havel River Landscape water sports area and the nature park.
