The canoe rest area is intended as a break spot for muscle-powered boats without overnight stays. It is located on the right bank of the Havel, downstream. A wide, shallow sandy beach makes it easier to get in and out of the boat. The site is marked with a sign on the waterside. The area is also used as a natural bathing spot, so mutual consideration is required.

The canoe rest area is located in the "Untere Havel Süd" nature reserve, within the Westhavelland Nature and Star Park. Visitors are kindly asked to follow the reserve's rules and leave the area clean.
