Farming equipment, production techniques and everyday items of life on a farm are used to illustrate rural culture and life between 1870 and 1950. A particularly interesting presentation is dedicated to the production of wooden shoes. This trade is rare in the Zauche region, but has been practised in Grebs for more than 100 years. Visitors can also admire various models of motor-assisted bicycles, known as a “chicken’s scarers” (“Hühnerschreck”).
