The Stägehaus is the oldest building in Paaren im Glien. Built in about 1678 as a half-timbered, Havelland central corridor house with clay walls, it was the home and place of work of the Stäge family for eight generations. History is brought to life at the Stägehaus. Today, there is a small agricultural museum and a cosy café, a traditional wood oven, old farm technology, an original black kitchen and the historic exhibition on “The art of butter-making in Havelland”.
