This barge lock, located not far from the main lock for motorboats, is a self-service lock for pleasure boats. It’s worth going on land for a brief tour at this point: on the lock grounds next to the half-timbered lock building, the historical lock is on display whose individual needles once had to be refitted by hand. The new weir with barge lock was completed in 2009.
