The garden town of Falkensee lies on the edge of the Havelland region, just a stone’s throw from Berlin and just 25 kilometres north of Potsdam. Falkensee is a lively town that is constantly changing its image: green, dynamic and charming. The beautiful landscape conservation area around Lake Falkenhagener See lies directly in the town itself. Hikers and cyclists are guaranteed to love the neighbouring Döberitzer Heath. Berlin-Spandau is a good starting point for a tour along the Havel Cycle Path.
