Three bicycle garages have been set up in the town of Hoyerswerda for day visitors, tourists and professionals. The bicycle garages can be used by occasional users without registration. If a monthly rental is desired, registration via the velobrix app is recommended for easier handling. The bicycle garages are located at Hoyerswerda train station, at the Lausitz Center and at the market in the old town. A total of 32 boxes for 48 bicycles are available in the city. Of these, 16 boxes are equipped with charging facilities for e-bikes. The upper boxes are limited to a height of 1.10 m and can be operated easily and without great effort thanks to a tension spring. The costs must be paid by EC or credit card.
