Lake Scheibe-See features a diverse route, making it especially well-suited to sporty cyclists. As some sections of the path include drops and quite tight curves, this lake circuit around Lake Scheibe-See is considered the most challenging in the Lusatian Lake District. The overgrown sand dunes in the southern part of the route stand out in particular. By the way, the name of the lake comes from the former village of Scheibe, which had to give way to the lignite-mining industry.
