There is plenty for cyclists to discover on the circular trail around Lake Geierswalder See. You will come across boats sailing on the lake, but you can also stay in floating holiday homes. The bicycle tour takes you across three canals: the Koschener Canal is the first navigable waterway in the Lausitz Seenland Lakes region, connecting Lake Geierswalder See to Lake Senftenberger. The “Rusty Nail” observation tower stands on the bank of the Sornoer Canal, a landmark of the region. The third canal you cross is the Barbara Canal, which will connect Lake Partwitzer to Lake Geierswalder See in future.
