Last but not least this stage begins in the town of Hoyerswerda and leads through the towns of Schwarzkollm and Laubusch. The special features on this part of the route are the garden cities of "Lauta-Nord" and "Erika". The route continues directly to Geierswalde at the lake. This invites visitors to linger and swim. The stage continue past the Koschen Canal with its lock to the "Rostiger Nagel" observation tower. From the top you have a good view of the surrounding lakes. After this detour, the route runs around lake Senftenberg, past the amphitheatre and many sandy beaches. These invites you to relax and cool off in the lake. Furthermore, numerous water sports such as paddling, boating, sailing, etc., are possible on and in the lake.
