Experience a leap in time from the Ice Age to the future by bike. In the middle of the Euloer Bruch nature reserve, the cycle path takes you past ponds and woodland through the villages of Klein Jamno and Gosda. In the open-air museum "Zeitsprung" in Klinge, you can relive the primeval formation of the earth's layers like an open diary. On a circular route they learn more about the flora and fauna of the Warm and Ice Ages on display boards and encounter life-size replicas of fossil mammals, e.g. a mammoth. Adjacent, they experience as a contemporary witness the state of development of the future local recreation area Klinger See, a residual hole of the Jänschwalde open-cast mine. Another relic of the post-mining landscape is encountered on the tour back between Gosda and Mulknitz. The Weißagk Heritage Park memorial invites you to linger and reminds you of the village that once had to make way for opencast lignite mining. From here a cycle path leads to Bohrau. The route continues via Bohrau and Neu Sacro back to Forst (Lausitz). A detour to the district of Horno is worthwhile. Here you can learn more about the open-cast mining areas of Lusatia and their people in the "Archive of Vanished Places".
