During this stage of the Lakeland Route, you cycle from Uhyst to Hoyerswerda. The route first leads through Lohsa to the Dreiweiberner lake. This lake offers numerous water sports, for example swimming, paddling, sailing and much more.

Further the trail continues around the lake Silbersee to Mortka to Jakubzburg Castle. This is a replica of a medieval castle.

The tour continues past Knappen Lake and Graureiher Lake to Knappenrode. A visit to the disused energy factory with its integrated industrial museum is definitely worthwhile.

From the energy factory, head north to Scheibe Lake. There you can enjoy the cool water once again before heading to the city of Hoyerswerda. Once in Hoyerswerda, it's worth visiting the zoo and adjacent castle with its city museum, as well as the ZCOM, the Zuse Computer Museum.
