The campsite is located by the country road B115, between Forst and Bad Muskau. With 40 tourist plots and 60 permanent plots, it is an uncluttered site that is ideal for recharging your batteries. Surrounded by various lakes, it is popular among fishing enthusiasts. The campsite is next to a bathing lake with a sandy beach and very good water quality. The lake Eichweger See is part of the Spree-Neiße district in the State of Brandenburg. It was formed through former small-scale lignite mining operations in the Lausitz region. The mining lake that is about 4.8 hectares big and more than 30 years old, has been used as a bathing lake ever since it was created. There is also a beach volleyball court on the campsite. Those without their own caravan or tent can rent one of the bungalows by arrangement.
There are well-developed cycle paths that are ideal for exploring the area. In autumn, the surrounding forests are very rich in mushrooms.
