The Sunshine Park in the Knappensee vacation park on the shores of the Knappensee lake in Groß Särchen invites guests to linger despite the closure of the Knappensee lake due to the mining renovation of the lake. As the Sunshine Park is located directly on the shore of the Knappensee, you can watch the progress of the renovation work very well from here.

Whether young or old, the mini golf course invites everyone to play. While the kids have fun in the 25 square meter sandpit with slide, parents or grandparents can enjoy the food and drink on offer in peace.

From 2024, there will also be the latest attractions to marvel at: the two horses Casanova and Donni. Despite the closure of the Knappensee, it will still be possible to camp on the campsite.
