The church in Bluno is one of the oldest preserved half-timbered churches. The elector Johann George the 3rd commissioned the church construction in September of the year 1670. The church was built in 1673. 100 years later it received a tower, which, with the exception of the base, is entirely made of wood. For the most part, the church has been preserved in its original state with the pulpit altar typical of this area, the "Madonna and Child" from 1450 and a group of figures from the 13th century.
