The church in Preschen in an unrendered field stone construction with a saddle roof dating from the 14th/15th century. The rough stone quoins are particularly striking. There is a Gothic oak door on the south side with moon-shaped fittings and a block lock. Inside the church, there are 15th century frescoes (fresco is a form of wall painting where the paints are applied to the fresh plaster, which means that they bind indissolubly with the substrate). Inside, there is also a pair of altar lights from 1800, suspended lights from 1819 and an oak chest with Gothic fittings. The altar is a built-in wooden structure with twisted pillars, a broken pediment and angels’ heads. In Preschen, the wooden bell tower dating from 1830 is something special; it stands separately and still houses a bell.
