The parish of Nochten-Boxberg, to which Sprey also belongs, has a sight of special architectural interest: A wooden chapel with a ridge turret rebuilt in 1780. It is surrounded by a churchyard which is still in use.

Older than the chapel is the altar, a Martin altar. The figure of St. Martin was replaced by the Madonna after the Reformation. The altarpiece is a five-figure shrine from the 14th century. The figures carved from lime wood represent the saints Stephen, Laurentius, Barbara and Catherine. The altar table is made of bog oak, darkened and hard as stone.
