Lake Göhlensee is a long natural lake south of the village of Göhlen. The lake is situated in a large forest, with a shoreline shaped by numerous sandy bays that offer perfect quiet spots to sit and fish. Forest trails lead almost all the way around the entire lake. The lake can only be accessed by car as far as the signposted parking area. From there, the lake is within walking distance.
