Painting, graphics and sculpture – Lusatia is a lively place for art. In Senftenberg, an exquisite art collection with over 2500 works by more than 130 artists has been established since the 80s, and is considered an insider tip not only among art lovers. What is special about it is that all the works relate to Lusatia. The permanent exhibition encompasses a fascinating selection of 20th and 21st century art works by artists ranging from Carl Lohse to Elisabeth Wolf.

The alternating exhibitions present contemporary artists from the region and their work. The themes covered range from everyday life to life itself, and artistically reflect the themes that have shaped the region.
