The Town Park was created in 1972 through the voluntary efforts of over 1000 citizens of the then Wilhelm-Pieck-Town Guben. Walking through the park, one can discover the 11 stone sculptures, which were a gift to the town of Guben on the occasion of the World Day of Peace 1985.
