Lake Deulowitz is a natural lake with very good water quality and a fine sandy bathing beach. Among other things, this hike is ideal for camping enthusiasts. You start from the campsite at Lake Deulowitz, where camping is also possible in the colder autumn and winter months. Along the natural lake Deulowitzer See, the hike then leads through the Kaltenborn Mountains, which give the impression of a low mountain landscape in a small format. Right at the beginning of the Kammweg, the view opens up to the wooded surroundings. The trail then continues to Kaltenborn, where there is also a playground with a place to rest. Just after leaving the village, you will find another small bench and table in the middle of the forest. On the way back, you will pass through the natural hilly landscape. During the months of May to October, food and drink are available at Flemming's restaurant, which is located directly on the campsite. In the colder seasons, the restaurant is only open irregularly, so you should pack provisions or drive to Guben, not far away, after the tour and warm up and fortify yourself there. For further activities, a boat and bicycle rental service is available in summer.
