The Noßdorf water mill is not only a place where children can learn about the milling trade (how grains from the field become healthy flour for the baker to use), it is also used by Cottbus University to present economic sciences in a practically oriented way. The entire industrial revolution can be explained using the example of a mill. From grinding for subsistence, via practical improvements, through to industrial mills.
