On the 16,000 m² large area is enough space for vacationers and it still carries the charm from days long gone. In GDR times, this facility was a children's holiday camp and is now converted into vacation apartments. Via a small staircase guests reach the 54 m² 2 room vacation apartment SpatzenNest. It has a living room with a modern fully equipped open kitchen and can accommodate 3-4 people. A large cozy corner sofa in the living room also serves as an extra bed. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and a crib. In the bathroom there is a bathtub, shower and toilet.

Holidaymakers can bring their own horse on request, it will find plenty of free space in the paddock or a place in the stable.
The vacation home is located in the municipality of Lohsa in the district of Koblenz and is situated directly at the Knappensee. Due to renovation work, the Knappensee is currently still closed. However, in about 15 minutes you can reach the Silver Lake by bike, by car it is about 5. At the Friedersdorfer beach holidaymakers can cool off, soak up the sun and find time to relax. The Seenlandroute, as well as the Niederlausitzer Bergbautour are 2 of the cycle paths in the Lusatian Lakeland that lead directly through Koblenz.
Excursion destinations are Hoyerswerda with a historic old town, the castle & city museum, and adjacent zoo. Learn all about Konrad Zuse the inventor of the computer in the ZCOM (Zuse Computer Museum), or store through the Lausitz Center in the new town of Hoyerswerda.
