The Geierswalder See water recreation area is located on the southern shore of the Geierswalder See lake. It is a perfect starting point for water sports activities on the lake network of the Lusatian Lakeland.

The rest area is run by the Zweckverband Lausitzer Seenland Sachsen (Lusatian Lakeland Association). During the season (01.04. - 31.10.) a harbour master is on site in the marina.

The water recreation area has a boat slipway, barrier-free sanitary facilities (for people with restricted mobility) and rest areas. Water moorings, land moorings for dinghies and parking facilities for trailers are available.

In the immediate vicinity is the LeuchtTurm Hotel with gastronomy and the camping site Marina-Camping Geierswalder See with pitches for motorhomes and tents.
