The textile bathing beach on Lake Partwitz is located below the riding centre in Klein Partwitz and south-east of the peninsula. There are no designated nudist or dog beaches. There are no sanitary facilities on the bathing beach; facilities from the neighbouring campsite can be used if necessary. A small kiosk is available in the summer season. The bathing area is particularly suitable for families with small children, as the beach is relatively shallow. The beach is unguarded.

Swimming from a boat is not permitted.

The approximately 2.5 kilometre long Scado peninsula is particularly striking and reserved for nature conservation. In addition to water sports, the 21-kilometre circular lake trail is ideal for cycling, skating and running.

Access to the lake is via the S234 in the direction of the harbour. Paid car parking is available.
