Lake Geierswalder See is located in the middle of the navigable Lusatian Lake District. A perfect day by the lake is guaranteed for all keen swimmers on Lake Geierswalder See: bathing and surfing beach, lakeside bar, various snack bars and a large chargeable parking area. There is local boat rental for pedal boats, canoes, Canadian canoes and Stand-Up-Paddling, as well as a surf and sailing school. This is also where the passenger boat stops, which operates scheduled services between Lake Geierswalder See and Lake Senftenberger See. There are camping and camper van sites in the immediate vicinity. The bathing area is guarded by German Red Cross (DRK) lifeguards during the summer months at weekends and on public holidays between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
