Welzow Fire Brigade Park is home to one of the largest historical fire department collections in Germany, making it the ideal excursion destination for technology enthusiasts. In addition to a total of 42 fire engines, 20 motorized fire engines, 12 trailed vehicles, various fire-fighting accessories, shoulder pieces, decorations and equipment, you can admire all kinds of unique equipment, including a fire-fighting tank. In the Welzow Fire Brigade Museum, you can go on a journey through fire department history. The oldest piece in the collection, a hand-operated fire engine from the 1920s, dates back to the days when people rushed to the scene of an emergency on foot or by bike. In addition, there are numerous rarities and special vehicles from state-owned companies in the GDR that are unique in Germany, which have been and will be restored in great detail over many hours.
