In the other Wing of the listed Factory building next to the city and industrial museum there is a fascinating exhibition that sheds light on the history of the Guben cloth makers and the former chemical fiber factory. Visitors learn interesting facts about the development of the cloth-making craft in Guben, starting in the 11th/12th century, until the decline in 1997. The highlights of the exhibition include an extensive sample collection of fabrics ranging from 1873 to 1995.

These exhibitions offer a tangible experience of industrial history and are tailored specifically for families. Parents will find practical storage options for strollers on site. Children's tours are also offered and the exhibition elements invite you to discover them through your senses - seeing, observing, hearing, touching, touching and smelling. A museum rally with opportunities to win prizes and films about industrial culture are also part of the program for young and old.

There is also a photo and selfie corner with “Kopsinchen”, the exhibition’s popular mascot. Visitors can relax on a picnic lawn in front of the exhibition and there is the option of a combination ticket, which also allows a visit to the city and industrial museum.
