The lake that is also known as “Guben’s bath tub”, is located about 7 kilometres to the south-west of Guben. It is easily accessible by car or via fully developed cycle paths. The lake that is surrounded by vast pine forests, is 11 hectares big and up to 8 metres deep. The bathing area at Deulowitzer See with its big sandy beach is the ideal place to relax, cool down and enjoy the sunshine on hot days. The surrounding forests are very rich in mushrooms and berries. In cold winters, the lake is also a popular ice skating spot.
