For almost 30 years now the Lausitzhalle has provided cultural variety to the town of Hoyerswerda and is the Lusatian Lake District’s central event location, hosting over 200 events a year with a great range of artists including well-known stars from Germany and abroad such as Nigel Kennedy, Giora Feidmann with Ben Becker, Ludwig Güttler, Ralf Schmitz, Dieter Nuhr, Die Puhdys, Karl Dall, Die Amigos, Die Paldauer, Tony Christie, Thomas Anders with Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen, Tiemo Hauer, Christopher von Deylen aka Schiller, and Till Brönner.
