Spremberg, situated on the river Spree, is a paradise for cycling, hiking and water-sports enthusiasts. Spremberg Castle, which is home to the Spree-Neiße’s district “Niederlausitzer Heidemuseum”, is worth seeing. From the Bismark Tower in the park on the Georgenberg there is an impressive view of the whole town. Each year the Music Summer takes place in Spremberg’s Kreuzkirche Church. Spremberg is the birthplace of the famous writer Erwin Strittmatter. There are numerous overnight accommodation possibilities ranging from camping sites to 3-star hotels.

  • Guided bike tours
  • Guided tours through the historic town centre of Spremberg
