The gallery shows works of the busy artist family Preuß. The starting point are the graphics and illustrations of Gerhard Preuß (1935 - 2014), whose book illustrations won many awards in the GDR. In the gallery one should now also be able to encounter the art of Gerhard Preuß, as well as the works of the writer, director and painter Ulrich Preuß, who did not yet die at the age of 40 in 2000. The painter and photographer Anne Preuß is his sister. She is the founder of the new gallery. Furthermore, the Preuß-Archive is located in the rooms. Here, for example, all books illustrated by Gerhard Preuß can be viewed.
