For all those who appreciate vegetarian and vegan food made from regional, ecological sealed ingredients Café Kieselstein is a good choice for breakfast, lunch or a coffee break. It offers fair-trade coffee and tea. Also the cold beverages are ecologically produced. The menu includes soups, quiches and opulent salads as well as gluten- and lactose-free dishes. Cakes and tortes are homemade.

Guests are welcome in the small and modestly furnished café as well as outside in the courtyard or in front of the house. There is an interesting history of the house: The café is located in the former bathtub section of the municipal Werner-Alfred-Baths that was closed in 1971.
