“Das Haus im Park” is the perfect spot for families and other Volkspark visitors to recharge their batteries. Over a home-made cake, a tarte flambée or an ice-cream sundae, you can sit back and watch the hustle and bustle on the aquatic playground directly adjacent.

With its striking curved roof, the building has room for 60 people on two floors inside. The amply-sized outdoor terrace can accommodate at least 200 people at bistro tables. Part of the terrace is covered.

The coffee is made by Die Espressionisten of Potsdam. In addition, small snacks are served along with a simple menu that varies from day to day. From March to November a children's flea market is held once a month.
