The riding facility is located in Fahrland, in the immediate vicinity of the lake Fahrländer See. It is surrounded by the meadows, fields and forest of the adjacent nature reserve “Königswald with the Havel lakes and Seeburg agricultural landscape”.
The nature reserve offers diverse riding terrain. It extends between Bundesstrasse 5 to the north, the Berlin/Brandenburg border to the east, the Sacrow-Paretz Canal to the south and Bundesstrasse 273 to the west, and includes Döberitzer Heide, Königswald and the Havel waters including the lakes Jungfernsee and Fahrländer See.
The state capital Potsdam is just 15 minutes away and the capital Berlin is only 30 minutes from our facility.
We attach great importance to species-appropriate husbandry, professional maintenance and loving care of the horses entrusted to us.
All boxes have an outside window as well as their own feeding and drinking troughs. In addition to the spacious boxes there are paddock boxes (own paddock with access from the box).
As horses are herd and steppe animals, it is vital for them to maintain social contact and to be able to move as freely as possible.
– Half-height boxes and general avoidance of grids in the stables allow constant visual contact with other horses. Your horses have a good view and can observe what is happening around them.
– Daily grazing all year round: In spring and summer we take the horses to the pastures and otherwise to our large and small winter paddocks. This reinforces the social behaviour of your horse and ensures free movement.
