The Jan Bouman House is an excellent example of a typical gabled house at the Dutch Quarter. The museum offers a permanent exhibition on the history of the quarter and on the preservation of the listed building. This is supplemented by temporary exhibitions. Some items of 18th century furniture are presented in the house.
