In the impressive building the Potsdam Museum presents numerous cultural and historic exhibits on 13.000 sqm. The permanent collection "Potsdam. Eine Stadt macht Geschichte" invites to go for a stroll through 1.000 years of Potsdam´s history. Visitors experience the changes in town through the centuries. The temporary exhibitions of the museum on municipal, art and cultural history reach more than regional significance.

The Forum of Art and History provides a wide-ranging programme of events and educational opportunities accompanying exhibitions and current topics of everyday life in the state capital.

For kids the museum offers various thrilling educational programmes.

The Potsdam Museum is one of four participating partners offering the MUSEUM combined ticket.
