Everything concerning film will be shown: film settings, props, costumes and technical equipment - from historic and recent times. Painters, plasterers, costume designers and make-up artists offer an exclusive insight into their day-to-day work and demonstrate how perfect illusions are created. Guests also learn about the tricks used by film and TV professionals in several settings and exhibitions. Each half an hour, during a guided backlot tour, you can visit the set of the german television soap opera "Gute Zeiten Schlechte Zeiten“.

Stuntmen and pyrotechnists, as well as animal trainers for TV productions demonstrate their skills in extraordinary shows. The TV show at Studio 1 gives visitors the chance to be in the spotlight: either as the weather girl (or man) or as a stand-in. On weekends and holidays, we also offer the making-of show of the 3D blockbuster “THE THREE MUSKETEERS“.

The 4D action cinema and the world’s first interactive XD experience cinema at the “Dome of Babelsberg” will guarantee an amazing thrill.

A lot of fun and entertainment for the kids and the whole family is offered at the jungle playground, in Panama - Janosch's Dreamland, at the witch’s house "Hansel and Gretel" and at the exhibition "Sandman and the lost sand of dreams".

Furthermore you can rent an Audio Guide. Within 90 minutes of exciting storytelling, you can explore the renowned history of Filmpark Babelsberg and the Media City. Learn all about the fascinating world of movie-making and TV.

A culinary experience in a medieval ambience at the restaurant “Prinz Eisenherz“ will complete your unforgettable stay at Filmpark Babelsberg.
